Details

Serving as Co-Chair of Communications for Women in Music’s largest chapters was more than just a position—it was an opportunity to make an impact in a global organization dedicated to empowering women in the industry. In this role, I focused on digital content strategy, event curation, and partnership development, ensuring that our messaging, branding, and initiatives resonated with our audience. I also played a key role in curating the monthly newsletter, providing valuable insights and updates that kept our community engaged and informed. This seat on the board was an honor, and I approached it with the passion and dedication it deserved—using my skills in communication, branding, and digital storytelling to strengthen the organization’s presence and help push its mission forward.

Audience: Women in the entertainment and music industry looking for professional growth and opportunities. Aspiring artists, producers, and executives seeking mentorship and industry insights.

Strategy

The strategy behind Women in Music Atlanta was rooted in empowerment, connection, and representation. Atlanta is a hub for entertainment, yet women in the industry often face unique challenges when it comes to networking, business opportunities, and visibility. Our mission was to create a strong, supportive space where women could build, collaborate, and thrive together. Through curated events, partnerships, and digital content, we showcased successful women leaders—proving that representation matters and that seeing success makes it feel attainable. More than just networking, this was about creating meaningful industry relationships and fostering an environment where women could do business, share resources, and elevate each other’s careers.
